Sometimes I follow fashion trends; sometimes I don't. I'm not a fashion expert, but I'm having a lot of fun, and I want to share what I put together and where I get my looks.
FFE's annual Glitter & Gold party at Full Figure Friday is a time to get sparkly and to resist the idea that big girls are not allowed to wear shiny fabrics. Do you like shiny fabrics? Then wear them!
My look for the 2014 Glitter and Gold party at AsiaSF in San Francisco included a chunky gold necklace from Rainbow, animal print shoes I've had forever (I think also purchased at Rainbow years ago), and Baby Phat's one shoulder dress (purchased for <$10 on ebay!). I also used gold hair chalk (purchased at Ross) to give my tresses a bit more shine.

Risque at Full Figure Friday in San Francisco
FFE's annual RISQUE party encourages leather, lace, lingerie, and other naughty costuming. My look for the 2014 RISQUE party at AsiaSF in San Francisco included lace-covered Guess stilettos (purchased affordably at Ross), Kix'ies Thigh Highs in Swiss dot pattern, and the nude & black bodyshaper teddy available at Curvy Girl Lingerie in San Jose, CA (www.curvygirlinc.com).
